Responsibilities
Lead and support a 24/7 maintenance organization including technician training, uptime monitoring, repair coordination, preventative maintenance planning, spare parts inventory, contractor oversight, and vendor support management. Partner with Geek+ to design and roll out continuous improvement efforts including order prioritization, task strategy optimization, bin error skip logic, and grid zoning enhancements. Serve as the primary customer-facing engineering contact communicating downtime events and building business cases. Analyze inventory profiles to develop approaches for moving high-velocity SKUs out of the automation system. Develop processes and controls for specialized, high-value inventory with elevated shrink and liability risk. Lead facility layout and material flow improvements across automation, consolidation, and packing operations. Drive site-wide 6S and operational excellence initiatives aligned with GXO standards.
