Responsibilities
Work with design engineers to influence designs early on, driving DFM/DFA across all JCI Stack Forging manufacturing equipment; Optimize part designs and assembly processes for efficient production; Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to drive continuous improvement, troubleshoot assembly issues, and implement corrective actions; Actively seek feedback from engineering and production teams on processes and procedures; Be comfortable supporting various facility needs, including coordination with vendors for building maintenance and infrastructure upgrades (HVAC, compressed air, etc.); Maintain comprehensive documentation, including assembly instructions, BOMs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs); Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs for production equipment and facility systems; Track, analyze, and report on manufacturing and facilities performance using relevant data, numbers, and KPIs.
