Responsibilities
Define organizational configuration management strategy and drive continuous improvement of processes and tools; Lead configuration management processes for complex hardware, electromechanical, and software products; Ensure accuracy and consistency of product data within PLM and ERP systems; Manage lifecycle of part numbers and establish standards for product data management; Lead ECO/ECR processes and release of engineering changes; Manage product and assembly revisions; Manage APL and AVL in collaboration with R&D, Procurement, Quality, and Supply Chain; Lead Change Control Boards (CCB) and coordinate across cross-functional teams; Ensure full traceability between requirements, design, parts, documentation, and manufacturing releases; Conduct configuration audits to identify gaps and risks; Develop KPIs to monitor data quality and product readiness; Manage component obsolescence including risk monitoring and mitigation planning; Develop reports and performance metrics regarding ECOs.
