Responsibilities
Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot mechanical and optomechanical assemblies at the system level. Develop or apply methods and procedures using blueprints, drawings, and diagrams. Test and troubleshoot assemblies and final systems, and rework components or systems as needed based on test results. Prepare technical reports that summarize findings and recommend solutions to technical problems. Assist with selecting and setting up specialized test equipment. Resolve moderately difficult technical issues and make recommendations using sound judgment.
