Responsibilities
Cut, bend, place, and fix reinforcing steel bars according to approved drawings; Prepare reinforcement cages and assemblies; Verify bar sizes, quantities, spacing, lap lengths, bends, and positioning; Maintain specified concrete cover using approved spacers, chairs, and supports; Tie reinforcement securely; Install reinforcement while maintaining alignment, dimensions, levels, and clearances; Support installation around embedded items, anchor bolts, sleeves, and openings; Check reinforcement condition and report defects; Assist with reinforcement inspections; Coordinate with Civil Supervisors, Concrete Workers, Carpenters, and Masons; Handle, store, and stack reinforcement safely; Maintain reinforcement tools and equipment; Follow approved drawings, method statements, and supervisor instructions; Maintain good housekeeping; Comply with PTW, HSE, PPE, and Company requirements
