Responsibilities
Supervise, train, and lead line operators, technicians, and packaging staff; manage daily line assignments, team schedules, and workload distribution to meet production targets; monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as scrap rates, downtime, and throughput; troubleshoot mechanical, material, or operational issues on packaging lines to minimize downtime; ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and safety standards; conduct regular quality checks to verify packaging meets technical sheets, labeling requirements, and regulatory standards; lead root cause analysis for packaging quality deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA); maintain accurate team logs, performance reports, and inventory documentation in ERP/MES systems; promote a zero-accident safety culture by enforcing safe material handling; identify and lead process improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma methodologies; participate in the deployment and validation of new packaging equipment or line modifications.
