Responsibilities
Manage accurate and up-to-date accounting records and general ledger integrity. Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L reporting and Balance Sheet reconciliations. Manage month-end accounting processes, including journals, accruals and prepayments. Analyse financial performance and identify key variances against budget and prior periods. Reconcile monthly sales across e-commerce platforms and payment gateways. Ensure revenue is accurately recorded across sales channels and reporting periods. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between e-commerce platforms, payment gateways and accounting records. Maintain accurate inventory accounting and stock records. Support year-end audit requirements, including financial schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and legislation. Identify opportunities to improve the accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness of finance processes.
