Job Overview:
Applications are invited for appointment as Assistant Lecturer (holding the title of Curriculum Coordinator) in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis. The appointee will be responsible for planning and implementation of training and coaching in a capacity building project for NGOs in Hong Kong. The target trainees will be the management, professional and front-line staffs and volunteers of NGOs. The appointee is expected to be active in practice research and education innovations.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement training and coaching in a capacity building project for NGOs in Hong Kong.
- Serve as Curriculum Coordinator, responsible for curriculum design and the coordination of the training schedule of the project.
- Engage in practice research and education innovations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Possess a Bachelor degree or higher qualification.
- Strong record of teaching.
- Preference will be given to those with expertise in teaching and training, and/or conducting research in the following disciplines: non-profit management, social services management, organization development, social and public administration.
