Responsibilities
Supervise operations and performance of a building portfolio; Lead, coach, and develop a team of facility operators; Manage staffing, scheduling, training, and performance; Participate in talent management including recruitment and development; Foster a culture of collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement; Evaluate training needs and prepare the team for daily operations and emergencies; Supervise vendors and contractors while prioritizing internal execution; Ensure operation, maintenance, and optimization of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, BAS, security, and building envelope systems; Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance programs, regulatory inspections, and emergency interventions; Collaborate with real estate, development, and construction teams; Manage service contracts, vendors, and OPEX/CAPX budgets; Ensure compliance with health, safety, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements; Ensure quality tenant service and efficient maintenance request management via Yardi FM; Track KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives; Supervise inspections, testing, and compliance of critical equipment including fire protection systems; Participate in vacating spaces, tenant improvement projects, and construction-to-operations transitions; Respond to emergency calls and operational needs outside normal hours; Collaborate with real estate teams, tenants, vendors, and external partners; Support sustainability, energy management, and user engagement initiatives; Contribute to environmental certifications such as BOMA, LEED, and WELL.
