Responsibilities
Perform inspections of structural steel components throughout the fabrication process, Check welding, materials, and finished work against drawings and specifications, Verify compliance with AWS D1.1, AWS D1.5, and AISC standards, Inspect incoming materials, parts, and welding consumables, Document inspection results and maintain QC records, Calibrate welding equipment and quality inspection instruments, Support welder qualification and certification activities, Promote safe work practices throughout the fabrication facility
