Responsibilities
Lead daily production activities across composite fabrication, airframe assembly, subassembly integration, avionics, and final vehicle build; Supervise, coach, and develop technicians and lead technicians; Drive daily attainment to production schedules while balancing labor, tooling, material readiness, cure cycles, inspection hold points, and downstream integration needs; Ensure all work is performed in accordance with released work instructions, engineering drawings, specifications, and other controlled documentation; Maintain compliance with configuration control, product traceability, and manufacturing record requirements for flight hardware; Support integration of airframe, mechanical, and mission-system hardware into unmanned aircraft platforms; Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, and Test teams to resolve production constraints and maintain build flow; Enforce safe work practices including PPE use, hazardous material handling, FOD prevention, and compliance with EHS procedures; Maintain high standards for 5S, tool accountability, equipment readiness, calibration compliance, and organized work areas; Identify recurring manufacturing issues and drive corrective and preventive actions to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance
