Responsibilities
Analyze demand and supply to identify imbalances and recommend actions; Coordinate with Sales, Inventory, Procurement, and Manufacturing to reduce lead times; Conduct capacity planning prior to schedule publication; Summarize and compare daily/weekly schedules against the Operating Plan; Create schedules satisfying customer demand while optimizing inventory and resource utilization; Participate in SIOP to set priorities when demand outstrips capacity; Maintain capacity data and scheduling parameters (lead times, lot sizes, cycle times); Liaise with Engineering and Operations to ensure labor, machine, and scrap standards are considered.
