Lead first with safety to develop and maintain safety systems; maintain systems and procedures in materials in accordance with site quality objectives; drive supply chain value capture programming within materials warehouse; manage materials handling costs; ensure material inventory accuracy and data integrity; leverage and optimize management system technology (SAP/EWM/WMS); ensure appropriate assets and equipment are available and properly maintained; lead the development of objectives and execution plans that optimize Material Flow operations; drive supply chain value capture activities across all aspects of Materials Logistics; maintain strong, safe working conditions; provide support to logistics personnel ensuring labor resources are utilized effectively; build supplier relationships on-site with third-party operations; develop and implement effective cost management practices; establish/maintain housekeeping standards in conformance with plant and government regulations.
