Maintain, repair, and modify molds for plastic injection and die casting; disassemble and assemble molds safely and efficiently; fabricate cores, cavities, and components; perform hand work repairs on part details, parting lines, lifters, slides, and cavities; troubleshoot production and maintenance issues; create and maintain mold spare parts lists; implement systems to reduce manufacturing defects; support design engineering with tooling change feasibility; assist process engineering with scrap and cycle time reduction.
