Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Test Safety processes for software releases and public road testing; Lead/perform safety risk assessments with internal stakeholders; Develop and document Operational Safety plan, requirements and concept; Provide data analyses to maintain a safety case for Autonomous Vehicle platforms; Evaluate safety results of tests and develop risk mitigation plans; Support Torc accident and incident response process, mishap investigation, and corrective action plans; Review engineering design specifications, test operations procedures, and change proposals for potential test safety impacts; Perform and contribute to safety & reliability analysis (e.g., FMEA, DFMEA, DFMEDA, FTA, STPA); Coordinate and collaborate across stakeholders to ensure test safety is integral to all autonomous development testing and operations.
