Responsibilities
Prepare and record comprehensive payroll journal entries including salaries, bonuses, commissions, stock-based compensation, benefits, and multi-state/international taxes; Prepare accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances; Perform monthly payroll flux analysis to identify period-over-period movements; Execute payroll accounting across global entities ensuring local compliance; Partner with Payroll Operations to resolve discrepancies between payroll register and general ledger; Support annual local statutory audits, consolidated external audits, and internal SOX requests; Lead testing and implementation of updates to cloud-based payroll and accounting systems; Support AI and automation initiatives to reduce manual work.
