Analyze manufacturing processes and machinery from a first principles, physics-based approach; Lead Design of Experiments (DOE) to develop supplier production processes; Perform defect characterization and analysis to improve manufacturing yields; Review DFM from suppliers including process flow and inspection mechanisms; Direct supplier process modifications and approve FAI and PPAP reports; Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers on mechanical parts and sub-system design intent; Support procurement in strategically sourcing parts matched with supplier competencies; Create and define supplier technical and quality requirements based on NPI lifecycle and program requirements
