Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using IRIS ObjectScript; Develop and maintain ObjectScript routines, classes, methods, globals, and data structures; Work with both object-oriented ObjectScript development and traditional MUMPS code; Support the maintenance, enhancement, modernization, and integration of VistA and other healthcare applications; Support HL7 messaging, healthcare interoperability, and healthcare data management initiatives; Develop and support interfaces and integrations between IRIS, VistA, and external healthcare systems; Work with IRIS database technologies, including globals, persistent classes, and SQL-based data access; Analyze, troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application, integration, and database issues; Support modernization and migration efforts involving legacy MUMPS/CACHE applications and InterSystems IRIS; Work within an Agile Scrum and DevSecOps environment; Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions; Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and system architecture; Write clean, efficient, and maintainable ObjectScript/MUMPS code; Participate in backlog refinement, estimation, and sprint activities.
