Perform precision inspection (CMM or surface plate) verification on mechanical parts, components, assemblies and materials; Understand GD&T requirements as applied to engineering drawings; Select and utilize standard gauges to ensure quality; Create, maintain, verify, retain, sort and organize all programs created; Work with cross functional teams to continuously improve processes; Assist engineering with making part inspection plans; Identify engineering and design GD&T issues and errors; Make or offer suggestions on drawing changes to improve manufacturability; Assist engineering and management research and procure tools; Create and administer training to help others exceed job expectations
