## About the role You are a thoughtful engineer. Clarity is better than cleverness - simplicity is top of mind when writing code or designing new services. You pay attention to the long term implications of your design decisions and how they may affect future users of the application. You create tooling and automated processes to prevent yourself and others from making the same mistake twice.
