Responsibilities
Provide Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM), Conceptual, and Detailed estimates based on project plans and technical specifications; Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services; Create and maintain Basis of Estimate (BOE) for each project; Collaborate with project managers, engineers, development, O&M and procurement teams to validate assumptions and optimize costs; Create and maintain a cost benchmarking database; Monitor market trends for renewable energy components and update cost databases accordingly; Support and validate Change Management requests and validate cost impacts; Develop & maintain in-house estimating tools, templates, procedures, and guidelines; Support team with project stage-gate process and deliverables; Maintain and utilize historical cost database and apply learnings for improved project performance; Assess performance threats and opportunities against both internal and external benchmarks
