We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / Platform Engineer to help build, operate, and continuously improve a modern cloud platform that enables engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure applications. In this role, you will contribute to the evolution of internal platform services, drive operational excellence, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve developer experience through automation and self-service capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and enhance cloud platform services that enable engineering teams to deliver applications efficiently and reliably.
Own the full lifecycle of platform services, including development, deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure platform solutions following Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
Partner with Technical Product Owners, Engineering Managers, Architects, and cross-functional stakeholders to define roadmaps, delivery plans, and technical priorities.
Continuously improve platform capabilities by incorporating feedback from internal engineering teams and promoting self-service solutions.
Monitor platform health, proactively identify risks, troubleshoot incidents, and implement long-term reliability improvements.
Optimize cloud infrastructure performance, security, operational excellence, and cost efficiency.
Promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, CI/CD best practices, and DevOps culture across engineering teams.
Support engineering teams adopting platform services and drive continuous improvements in developer experience.
Foster collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing across platform and product engineering teams.
Must-have Skills
Experience working as a Site Reliability Engineer, Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role in cloud-native environments.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
Strong experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
Experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps YAML Pipelines and reusable pipeline templates.
Experience with Azure services such as:
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Azure Networking
Identity Management
Azure Service Bus
Azure SQL
Cosmos DB
Elasticsearch
Experience supporting DevOps and Platform Engineering practices.
Strong understanding of:
Microservices architecture
Event-driven architectures
Distributed systems
Experience with monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, and platform reliability.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
Ownership mindset with a proactive approach to solving technical challenges.
Nice-to-have
Experience developing applications using C# (.NET).
Experience with automated testing frameworks.
Experience working in highly regulated industries such as Financial Services or FinTech.
Experience building or supporting API-first platforms.
Knowledge of cloud governance, security best practices, and cloud cost optimization.
Experience improving developer experience through Internal Developer Platforms (IDP).
