Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain badge readers, keypad entry systems, turnstiles, electronic door locks, and gate operators. Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled inspections. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, wiring, and hardware issues. Run, terminate, label, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling. Configure and test field devices to ensure proper communication with access control software. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation. Use laptops, tablets, and mobile devices to configure equipment and document completed work.
