Responsibilities
Execute test passes on localized versions to verify linguistic, functional, and visual accuracy; Identify and log localization bugs from translation errors to UI defects with detailed reproducible steps; Ensure consistency in spelling, grammar, terminology, tone, variable usage, and cultural relevance; Correct or propose modifications for objective linguistic issues directly in text management systems; Analyze reported issues to determine root causes and identify systemic localization/i18n risks; Report localization risks early in the development cycle regarding variables, UI constraints, or source text clarity; Contribute to glossary and style guide validation during broader quality review cycles; Follow documented test plans and contribute to creating/improving test cases; Evaluate localization quality against publisher standards, platform holder terminology, and brand requirements; Review localization tickets and player reports to reproduce and escalate confirmed issues; Participate in daily LQA team meetings, bug triage, and milestone quality reviews; Stay updated on project key terminology and serve as a reference for native language
