Responsibilities
Design and execute cell characterization programs evaluating capacity, impedance, power, thermal behavior, and aging; Develop custom fixtures, instrumentation, and automation for high-throughput testing; Analyze large datasets to identify degradation mechanisms and failure modes; Perform post-test teardown inspections and correlate electrical performance with mechanical/thermal observations; Support abuse testing including crush, penetration, thermal runaway, and environmental exposure; Develop laboratory procedures, calibration methods, and standardized test methodologies.
