## Responsibilities * Assist in leading all revenue operations processes consisting of month end close, booking entries to the general ledger, reviewing sales transactions in our ERP system for completeness and accuracy, and revenue and deferred revenue account reconciliations. * Own month end close activities including cash activity, flux and other analyses, reconciliations and revenue recognition. * Analyze sales transactions within the Company’s ERP systems to ensure accuracy of data and integrity of revenue schedules, inclusive of revenue allocations. * Support review of different revenue streams for appropriate revenue treatments. * Perform analyses to assess the need for combining contracts pursuant to ASC 606. * Validate completeness and accuracy of SAAS usage and professional services data for revenue recognition. * Assist in calculation of self serve revenue from online credit card transactions. * Assist in work papers, PBC’s and process walk-throughs for audits (internal and external). * Prepare contract review write ups by identifying any non-standard terms and documenting accounting conclusions. * Maintain deferred revenue and contract asset schedule. * Prepare executive-level analytics for various internal and external presentations. * Partner cross-functionally with key internal business partners, such as GL, OTC, and Business Systems on ongoing issues and help drive to conclusion. * Assist in other ad hoc project work as required. * Manage the monthly close, contract negotiation and documentation and determine appropriate accounting treatment for product offerings. * Design and maintain controls over reporting of revenue and assist in quarterly revenue forecasting activities. ## Requirements * Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting (CA/CPA is a plus) with 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a global revenue accounting team. * Knowledge of revenue operations, revenue recognition and reconciliation process. * Prior experience working with sales data, customer contracts and product offerings. * Intermediate to advanced in MS Excel & experience working with large volumes of data. * Previous experience in Software/SaaS industry. * Knowledge of ERP and CRM systems (NetSuite, Salesforce). * Proficient knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606. * Experience working in a SOX-controlled environment. * Strong analytical, research, and problem solving skills. * Acute attention to detail and well developed organization and time management skills. * Must be self-motivated, flexible, deadline-oriented and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision. * Good verbal and written communication skills, specifically the ability to articulate issues and present findings in a clear and summarized manner. * Ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly scaling, dynamic environment, and align well with MongoDB’s core values. ## Nice to Have * CA/CPA certification. ## Benefits * Opportunity to join and grow with a strong accounting team at a high growth, enterprise software company. * Join an extremely visible, high-performing team responsible for accurate financial reporting of revenue.
