## About the Role Design efficient experiments and frameworks that capture long-run steady state outcomes when testing new recommendation strategies Build statistical models that help in building trust centric tools Utilizing Deep Learning techniques for advanced feature engineering and model building, e.g., how to model for user behavior sequences, or how can we detect anomalies effectively. Help guide overall vision of pricing and promotion on ODO.RUN for a dynamically changing platform. ## What we are looking for - Experience with causal inference modeling and/or designing complex experiments - Excellent written and verbal communication - Proven ability to succeed in both collaborative and independent work environments - Experience with languages used for querying (e.g. Hive/Pig/SQL), preprocessing (e.g. unix/python), and statistical analysis (e.g. R/Python) - Ability to define relevant metrics that can guide and influence stakeholders to appropriate and accurate insights - Experience or willingness to learn tools to create data pipelines - Building clear and easy to understand dashboards and presentations - Ability to model and run experiments are a plus - Comfortable unlearning & learning on the fly - Writes maintainable and performant code - Willingness to lead a team in near future ## Education MS/PhD in a quantitative field including Applied Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, or Quantitative Marketing preferred ## Good to know We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status ## Also Self-Learners please don't hesitate to apply, we appreciate talent from any background what-so-ever here at ODO.RUN. ## About the company ODO.RUN is looking for our first Data Scientist who can help us build from ground up, our business intelligence engine. ## Note Please note this is a sweat equity only position before applying - Thank You! This is only a sweat equity position initially, later will be converted to cash compensation + equity. Daily work meals, snacks and necessary travel is compensated.
