Responsibilities
Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection on infants, adults, geriatric, and wheelchair-bound patients; provide post-phlebotomy patient care; review and record refrigerator temperatures and QC/QA records; label and process specimens per protocol; procure blood specimens and maintain <2% recollection rate; follow TJC patient safety goals; communicate test results and specimen issues to staff and physicians; perform clerical duties including faxing, printing, and filing; travel to additional client sites as needed.
