Responsibilities
Operate imaging equipment and accessories to generate interventional images; Position patients to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest; Evaluate resultant images and take corrective action if needed; Prepare patients for procedures and provide education to minimize anxiety; Monitor stock of supplies in imaging rooms; Document imaging procedures manually and/or electronically; Report equipment failures or irregularities to supervisory personnel; Interact with other departments to ensure continuity of care.
