Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes; Perform phlebotomy and obtain capillary blood glucose; Apply cardiac monitors and fetal monitoring equipment; Administer enemas and discontinue heplocks and foley catheters; Collect urine, stool, blood, and sputum specimens; Provide hygiene care including bed baths and peri-care; Ambulate patients and instruct on walker/cane use; Respond to emergency call lights and initiate basic life support; Transport patients and equipment; Apply dressings for Stage I and II skin breakdown; Perform newborn care including feeding and glucose checks.
