Responsibilities
Lead and grow a team of engineers to develop and sustain advanced manufacturing equipment and processes; Design and develop next generation manufacturing architecture; Create and improve mid- to high volume manufacturing assembly lines and work instructions; Apply automation control experience to ensure designs meet yield, MTBF, and OEE targets; Lead design for manufacturing and automation inputs during product design; Design, document, and qualify fixtures, tools, and equipment; Analyze manufacturing lines from a risk perspective using PFMEA; Provide production line support and lead failure analysis for discrepant components; Manage financial aspects of the program and evaluate feasibility; Coach and mentor engineers; Function as single point of contact with equipment vendors.
