Responsibilities
Review PQP, ITPs, datasheets, C&E matrices, and vendor procedures; Conduct Pre-Inspection Meetings and verify readiness; Build risk-based inspection plans; Inspect LV/MV switchgear, MCCs, transformers, UPS, drives, lighting, earthing; Witness FAT/SAT including dielectric tests, DLRO, IR/PI, TTR, SFRA; Perform relay testing; Verify cable installation, terminations, glanding, earthing; Conduct hazardous area inspections; Inspect transmitters, analyzers, control valves, marshalling cabinets; Witness calibration, loop checks, and functional tests; Verify digital comms and Ex equipment compliance; Issue inspection reports, NCRs, and punch lists; Validate MDR/MRB/ITR; Enforce electrical safety, LOTO, arc-flash boundaries; Interface with Client/EPC/OEM; Provide engineering-level insights in recurring issues
