2D Designer for Automotive – Senior (m/f/d)
Become part of an international engineering team working on innovative automotive projects for automovie.
As a Senior 2D Designer, you will contribute to the development of vehicle electrical systems and wiring harnesses, cooperate directly with the customer and support the complete development lifecycle — from concept phase to implementation.
You will work with technical documentation, electrical schematics and CAD tools while collaborating with international project teams and specialist departments across LEONI.
What will be your responsibilities?
• Communicate and cooperate with colleagues to identify and deliver technical solutions for automotive projects
• Maintain regular communication with the customer
• Take responsibility for dedicated tasks within the D&D department and ensure compliance with customer and LEONI standards and specifications
• Design concepts and develop automotive wiring harnesses for automotive (CAD-based design)
• Create concepts and electrical wiring schematics for vehicles in CAD software
• Check and validate technical documentation and create or modify technical drawings
• Collaborate within international project teams and coordinate with internal specialist departments
• Opportunity to travel directly to the customer site in order to better understand and resolve technical issues
What do we expect from you?
• Secondary technical education or university degree in a technical field
• English or German language skills at communicative level
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Technical thinking, responsibility, precision and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team, flexibility and proactive mindset
• Practical experience with CAD software
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a similar role
• Willingness to travel for business trips

Basic gross guaranteed salary: 1650 EUR/Brutto + 13th salary
