Responsibilities
Perform initial parts set-up including digital pictures, micrometer measurements, visual inspections and parts labeling; Execute vehicle maintenance and component retrofits; Maintain and monitor test facility conditions including climatic chamber, salt water basin, and mud pit facilities; Execute driving cycles on closed fatigue tracks and public roads; Install sensors and data acquisition as required; Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair defects found during testing; Transport instrumented test vehicles to proving ground facilities; Record videos of vehicle test maneuvers; Report data generated, progress and status of tasks to Senior Technician or Test Engineer
