Datacenter & Telecommunications Technician

Support the operation and maintenance of datacenter and telecommunications infrastructure across multiple sites within an Inetum project in the telecom/energy sector. Main Responsibilities Perform operational and technical support activities in datacenter environments Execute fibre optic installation, testing and certification (OTDR) Manage incidents and service requests Conduct technical site surveys and validate infrastructure Maintain and update technical documentation and reports Support structured cabling installations (fibre and copper)

Minimum 5 years of experience in datacenter, telecom or infrastructure environments Experience in datacenter operations and support Hands-on experience with fibre optics and OTDR testing Knowledge of structured cabling and connectivity Experience in incident and request management Ability to produce technical documentation Knowledge of Microsoft Visio or similar tools Valid driver’s license Availability to travel between sites Professional proficiency in Portuguese Additional Valued Experience Experience in housing or colocation environments Knowledge of IP networking Experience coordinating suppliers or subcontractors Understanding of datacenter layouts and infrastructure Knowledge of telecom-related power systems
