Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end electrical design including single-line diagrams, cable sizing, grounding, and protection schemes; Define and validate grid-connection requirements with utilities; Review and approve integration of PCS, BMS, EMS, and SCADA; Perform or supervise load-flow, short-circuit, and protection coordination studies; Ensure designs comply with international and local standards; Own and maintain internal electrical design standards and templates; Define protection philosophies and interlocking schemes; Drive design reviews focusing on electrical safety and functional safety; Act as electrical technical authority for projects; Plan and coordinate electrical engineering deliverables; Review vendor/OEM documentation; Support construction, FAT/SAT, and commissioning teams; Lead technical discussions with customers, utilities, and regulatory bodies; Translate customer requirements into electrical design inputs; Provide technical support to sales and bid teams; Oversee preparation and approval of electrical deliverables; Implement engineering quality processes; Capture lessons learned for continuous improvement
