Develop mechanical designs for transmission solenoids including housings, armatures, springs, valves, and interfaces; Translate customer and system requirements into detailed design concepts, CAD models, drawings, and specifications; Own mechanical design from concept, validation, release, and series support; Create and maintain BOMs, drawings, tolerance analyses, and documentation in the PLM system; Apply DFM/DFA principles for high-volume automotive production; Participate in DFMEA/DRBFM, DVP&R, design reviews, and validation testing; Support industrialization, ramp-up, and series production with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers; Analyze and resolve design, production, and field issues using structured problem-solving; Support customer technical discussions and engineering changes; Drive cost, quality, and standardization improvements
