Responsibilities
Prepare feasibility studies, outline design, detailed design and construction support; Produce plant layouts, design drawings, mechanical plant selection, specifications, WIMES Data Sheets, Valve schedules, Equipment Schedules, lifting strategies, hydraulic headloss calculations and P&IDs; Liaise and collaborate with water and other discipline teams; Visit site to carry surveys and support liaisons with clients, contractors & suppliers; Lead and contribute design review meetings such as HAZOPs, HAZIDs, ALMs and SWIFTS; Act as Mechanical Lead on projects including WwTW, WTW and Infrastructure; Assist the Project Manager to set realistic programmes and budgets for Mechanical projects; Be a Line manager for Mechanical Graduate, Engineer and Senior Engineers
