Responsibilities
Acting as project manager/highway design lead on multidiscipline detail design highway and bridge projects for MTO; Providing mentorship, support, and oversight to other engineers and technical staff; Supporting and leading a project team to complete designs ranging from freeways, urban and rural multi-lane and two-lane facilities, interchanges, and intersections; Ensuring that corporate and client QA/QC practices are completed on all projects; Coordinating with clients, approval agencies, utility companies, contractors, etc.; Preparing proposals, project work plans, schedules, and budgets; Monitoring overall work progress and technical performance on projects to ensure timelines and targets are being met.
