Responsibilities
Create real-world test cases and use cases based on project requirements. Develop and execute performance test scripts for load and stress testing of UI, mobile, and web services. Create automated tests for regression, functional, and integration testing needs. Monitor application performance using CA APM. Report defects found in testing using standard defect tracking tools. Perform data analysis to analyze issues in performance and/or production environments. Work with test data management teams to establish sufficient test data. Conduct troubleshooting and performance test execution to support remediation efforts. Analyze data and application changes to document their impact on performance-testing tasks. Ensure appropriate testing and monitoring tools/technologies are configured. Execute, monitor, analyze, and report performance test findings. Maintain an up-to-date repository of artifacts related to performance test executions. Schedule and assign computing resources to support load-testing efforts. Develop and deliver performance test reports. Make recommendations to improve product performance, scalability, and availability metrics. Participate in the selection, evaluation, and management of testing tools.
