Senior Native Mobile Engineer (Android & iOS)

If you care about clean architecture, performance, ownership, and shipping meaningful products, you'll love working here. ## Responsibilities - Build and maintain production-grade native apps for both Android and iOS - Architect scalable mobile codebases from scratch and improve existing ones - Integrate mobile apps with AI/ML powered backends, real-time systems, and cloud services - Work closely with product, design, and backend teams to ship features end-to-end - Optimize app performance, memory usage, battery consumption, and network efficiency - Own release cycles, CI/CD, versioning, and app store deployments - Mentor junior engineers and establish mobile engineering best practices - Drive decisions on architecture, tooling, testing, and quality standards ## Requirements ### Core Skills - 4+ years of experience building native Android apps (Kotlin/Java) - 4+ years of experience building native iOS apps (Swift/Objective-C) - Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, SOLID) - Experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, and real-time data handling - Experience with offline-first apps, caching, and synchronization strategies - Deep understanding of app performance tuning and debugging - Experience with push notifications, background services, and app lifecycle management ### Good to Have - Experience integrating AI/ML models or camera/video/audio pipelines - Experience with CI/CD for mobile apps (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, etc.) - Knowledge of app security, encryption, and secure storage - Experience publishing and maintaining apps on Play Store and App Store - Exposure to Firebase, analytics, crash reporting, and monitoring tools ## What we offer - Fully remote, async-friendly culture - Small teams, high ownership - Engineers talk directly to customers and founders - Strong focus on code quality, documentation, and testing - We value builders, not ticket closers - Work on cutting-edge AI-powered products - Ownership from Day 1 - Opportunity to shape mobile engineering at the company - Competitive salary - Flexible work hours - Learning budget and growth path into Staff/Principal roles ## Who should not apply - If you've only worked with cross-platform frameworks (Flutter/React Native) and haven't built serious native apps - If you prefer strict task execution over ownership and problem solving - If you're uncomfortable working in fast-moving startup environments ## How to apply Send us: - Links to apps you've built - GitHub/portfolio - A short note on the most complex mobile problem you've solved
