Preparing sales estimates including site costs, variations and tender pricing; Completing production estimating and preparing orders for construction; Reviewing architectural and engineering drawings and specifications; Preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and take-offs; Liaising with architects, engineers, construction supervisors, contractors and suppliers; Obtaining and reviewing supplier quotations; Managing supplier allocations based on pricing, quality and capacity; Preparing margin reports and identifying pricing variances; Maintaining estimating databases, assemblies and price files to ensure pricing accuracy; Completing on-site measures and quantity take-offs where required; Assisting with supplier negotiations and maintaining strong supplier relationships; Responding to estimating queries from internal stakeholders in a timely manner; Ensuring all estimates comply with relevant Australian Standards, NCC requirements and company specifications
