Smart Contract programming languages (e.g., Solidity), Python or another object-oriented programming language, code analysis, program debugging, reading Blockchain explorers, understanding of common Smart Contract security vulnerabilities, understanding of blockchain and smart contract principles, understanding of different types of hacks on smart contracts and common attack vectors, understanding of different types of scams such as Wallet Drainers, smart contract development testing, transaction analysis, version control applications (e.g., VSCode, Git), EVM-compatible blockchains, layer 2 solutions, DeFi design patterns.
Responsibilities
Review analysis on newly disclosed vulnerabilities for smart contracts, summarize causes behind exploits, conduct security audits on smart contracts and blockchains, write high-quality audit reports, develop automated scanning and monitoring tools, utilize scanning tools to detect vulnerabilities and issue risk warnings, conduct post-mortem analyses on hacking incidents, examine causes and processes of incidents, perform basic fund tracing, proactively identify on-chain risks, monitor and model emerging on-chain attack vector trends, understand on-chain security risks such as fraud and phishing.
