Own mechanical system and subsystem development across the full product lifecycle; Design durable mechanical solutions for fixed, portable, and mobile cUAS systems; Develop housings, structures, and mounting concepts with focus on thermal performance, weight, stiffness, and environmental robustness; Apply structural and thermal simulation to guide design decisions; Take a strong hands-on role in prototyping, testing, and iterative design improvements; Solve real-world hardware problems by identifying root causes and implementing practical, robust solutions; Work closely with electrical, RF, and systems engineers on mechanical-electrical integration; Collaborate with manufacturing partners on DFM/DFA, material selection, surface treatments, and production processes; Support qualification activities including temperature, shock, vibration, and environmental testing; Participate in design reviews, contribute to engineering guidelines, and continuously improve mechanical design standards; Act as a technical mentor, sharing knowledge and experience within the engineering team.
