Responsibilities
Execute month-end and year-end close activities by preparing journal entries, accruals, and depreciation expense entries. Maintain the fixed asset sub-ledger by recording additions, disposals, and depreciation, and reconciling balance to the general ledger. Timely and accurately record cash applications of customer payments. Support revenue accounting with booking of revenue transactions. Support inventory accounting by partnering with operations to record transactions, investigate variances, and maintain accurate inventory balances. Prepare account reconciliations and analyses by investigating variances and documenting adjustments. Maintain accuracy in the general ledger and chart of accounts by reviewing coding and correcting misclassifications. Push to completion ongoing project invoicing, cleanup of deferred revenue, and revenue recognition reporting.
