Responsibilities
Run MRP and translate net requirements into purchase orders; Place, track, and expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery; Monitor open PO status and follow up with suppliers on delayed shipments; Maintain accurate system data for lead times, order quantities, and delivery dates; Monitor daily inventory levels against safety stock and flag excess or aging inventory; Identify and escalate material shortages that put build schedules at risk; Coordinate with suppliers to resolve delivery exceptions; Work with the Planning Manager to align material orders with updated build plans and forecasts; Support engineering change implementation by updating orders affected by BOM changes; Coordinate with logistics teams on receiving and staging of incoming materials; Report on delivery, shortage, and inventory metrics.
