Responsibilities
Own holistic DFM/DFA reviews across full systems; Drive adoption of design standards (GD&T, fasteners, libraries); Lead standardization initiatives (collimator consolidation, CAD configs); Introduce structured quality planning (DFMEA, DVP&R) into NPI programs; Review DVP&R plans and reports for iterative build cycles; Review engineering drawings/CAD for GD&T and perform tolerance stack-up analyses; Participate in change control as quality reviewer; Lead root-cause and corrective action for design failures; Support PPAP and first-article inspection; Define and report design quality metrics; Establish design-control documentation practices; Mentor engineers in design quality methods
