Responsibilities
Embed early in design reviews for PCBA and box-level assemblies to drive DFMAT feedback; Review and redline PCBA designs for signal integrity, thermal management, and manufacturability; Assess box-level enclosure designs for assembly access and rack integration; Maintain DFM feedback documentation through design revision cycles; Drive completeness of Technical Data Packages including BOMs, drawings, and work instructions; Author and peer review assembly instructions and manufacturing SOPs; Lead cross-site NPI transition from prototype to production including first article builds; Coordinate with Planning and SCM for demand and capacity alignment at NPI gates; Work hands-on with technicians during PCBA and box build assemblies; Lead process development for controls rack integration including assembly sequences and quality checkpoints; Apply electromechanical expertise to physical integration of control boxes, power distribution, and cable management; Provide feedback on testability gaps relative to manufacturing process risk
