Responsibilities
Design, develop, configure, enhance, and maintain IBM Datacap applications; Configure and optimize OCR, document recognition, classification, data extraction, field validation, image processing, and batch-processing capabilities; Develop reusable Datacap components and custom actions or extensions; Install, configure, administer, monitor, and maintain Datacap environments across Development, Test, QA, UAT, and Production; Administer and troubleshoot Datacap Server, Rulerunner, Datacap Studio, and Datacap Navigator; Participate throughout the product development lifecycle; Translate business requirements and user stories into technical solutions; Develop and support integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, databases, file-based interfaces, enterprise content repositories, workflow platforms, and business applications; Integrate document-processing capabilities with enterprise platforms such as IBM FileNet P8 and IBM Content Navigator; Manage metadata mapping, database lookups, document and metadata exports, API data exchange, retries, error handling, audit logging, and exception management; Develop and maintain custom components using C#, .NET, Java, JavaScript, SQL, XML, REST, and SOAP; Support secure enterprise and federal environments; Contribute to source control, CI/CD, automated deployments, release management, environment configuration, monitoring, incident management, and DevSecOps practices.
