Own inventory accounting and month-end close activities including journal entries and reconciliations; Maintain and review standard costs, bills of material, and overhead rates; Analyze inventory variances and communicate findings; Reconcile inventory subledgers to the general ledger; Support cycle counts and physical inventories; Prepare and evaluate inventory reserves; Review inventory transactions for accuracy; Prepare recurring and non-recurring journal entries; Support cost-of-goods-sold and gross-margin reporting; Provide inventory and cost analysis for forecasts and budgets; Support internal and external audits; Document accounting procedures and internal controls.
